2. Description of Service

Little Tales Lab provides an AI-powered platform for creating personalized children's storybooks. Our Service allows users to generate custom stories and illustrations featuring their children or other characters.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or have parental consent if under 18.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including photos, descriptions, and story preferences ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Generated Content

Stories and images generated through the Service ("Generated Content") are created using AI technology. You own the Generated Content created through your account, subject to our rights to use it as described in these Terms.

Our Intellectual Property

The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Little Tales Lab and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Upload content that is offensive, inappropriate, or violates others' rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for children
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service without our permission
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our permission

6. Payment and Subscription

Certain features of the Service require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with notice to existing subscribers

7. Content Moderation

We use AI-powered content moderation to ensure generated stories are appropriate for children. However, we cannot guarantee that all content will be suitable for all audiences. Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing with children.

8. Children's Privacy

We take children's privacy seriously. While our Service is designed for creating children's stories, it is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, educators). Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle information about children.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • All generated content will meet your expectations or be appropriate
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
